Quick Facts About the 2022 Edition of the EBDC

EBDC 2022 – October 15, 2022 (Virtual event open 2 week window begins October 1 and closes at 1 pm sharp on October 15th, 2022)

  • Register for the 2022 East Bay Dirt Classic!
  • Current Virtual Leaderboard!
  • The 2022 edition is 24 miles of mostly dirt trails with approximately 4,000′ of climbing.
  • This year’s edition features some more technical trails than prior years and while most of the course is fire road, there are some sections of single track, which are at times technical.
  • There are 5 timed segments, the sum of which from a single ride will determine a participant’s total time.
  • Click here to see the 2022 East Bay Dirt Classic Course.
  • This year will see the opportunity to ride the course as a virtual event during a 2 week open window or on the day of the event, October 15th.
  • There will once again be an after-event pool party including barbecue, refreshments and presentation of awards for vaccinated participants. Participants are invited to attend the BBQ on October 15th whether they ride the event virtually or on the day of the event.
  • Rolling 2 week window to complete the course as many times as a rider chooses
  • Registered participants will be able to track their results on the East Bay Dirt Classic Leaderboard.
  • All registered riders will receive a limited edition 2022 EBDC t-shirt
  • Prizes from our sponsors on offer to the top finishers
  • Recommend cross-country style MTB for this event as some of the course is technical single track for which riders may benefit from suspension, wider tires and some of the course is STEEP and riders may benefit from having a nice large granny gear.
  • Participants must register and link their Strava account to our leaderboard.

Note – there are no road or trail closures for this event. All riders should be in control and respect all other users at all times. We want riders to challenge themselves, but for it to live on we have to keep our priority on the community, the fun, and the fundraising.
